 Regional Congress on Collective Health

NOTICE No. 01/2020


The Collective Health Research Group (GPESC) of the Senador Helvídio Nunes de Barros Campus (CSHNB) of the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI) makes public the opening of registrations and establishes rules regarding participation in the Regional Congress of Collective Health, to be held from 11 to 13 November 2020, remotely.



The Regional Congress on Collective Health has the theme "Interprofessionality in health: challenges and potentialities" and aims to discuss interprofessionality in health, debate health education for SUS in the state of Piauí, discussing critical nodes and fostering development new knowledge in the field of health education arising from the sharing of knowledge, experiences and interprofessional experiences, in order to promote improvements for the population health.


2.1 The registration period will start on September 17, 2020. Registration will be made on the congress website:

2.2 The event will be online and you will be charged a fee of R $ 30.00 reais per registration.

2.3 The event will have a limited number of places.

2.4 Each registrant will be able to choose a minicourse, participate in all conferences and up to two abstracts, one as an author and the other as a co-author.



3.1 In order to submit the work, the candidate  MUST choose one of the four major areas for the classification of scientific works, described in item 3.1.1, h

3.1.1 Large areas and sub-areas for the classification of scientific works:

1- Epidemiology

a) Child and adolescent health

b) Women's health

c) Adult health

d) Health of the elderly

e) Mental health

f) Infectious diseases

2- Social and human sciences in health

3- Policy, planning and management

4- Health Science and Technology

a) Educational materials and Information technology

b) Product development

c) Technological Innovation and Prospecting


3.2 One abstract will be accepted per registered as 1st AUTHOR. Each abstract may have up to 06 authors (01 author + 05 co-authors), including the rapporteur and advisor. It is mandatory to include a supervisor (professional with a higher education) among the co-authors. The same person registered can only participate in two abstracts, one as an author and the other as a co-author, this does not apply to the supervisor.

All authors and co-authors must be registered for the event, it is optional for the supervisor to be registered or not.

When submitting the abstract, the electronic poster must also be sent in PDF format.

3.2.1 The content of the scientific work (s) will be the responsibility of the author (s);

3.2.2 The abstracts of the works will be forwarded for evaluation by ad hoc consultants at this event. Approved papers will be posted on the event website.


3.3 Papers in the following categories will be accepted: Experience report; reflective study; field or experimental (observational) research; case study and technological prospecting.

3.3.1 The rules for preparing the works (simple abstracts) are available in Annex I;

3.3.2 Simple abstracts must be submitted directly to the event's online system, in the congressman's area, in the appropriate fields. Abstracts sent by email will not be accepted.

3.3.3 The model for preparing and submitting simple abstracts is available in Annex II. The rapporteur must use this model for the preparation and submission of scientific work.

3.4 Rapporteurs must attach files in WORD format (WITHOUT AUTHORS IDENTIFICATION for publication in the annals) of the simple abstract via the congressman's area, on the website << >>, directly on the event's online system.

3.5 The annals will be published under the responsibility of the Scientific Committee on the event website.

3.6 The Scientific Commission reserves the right to declassify scientific works that do not comply with the rules or that constitute plagiarism (The violation of copyright is a CRIME provided for in article 184 of the Penal Code, with punishment ranging from the payment of a fine to imprisonment of four years, depending on the extent and the way in which the copyright was violated Legal support: Art. 5; item XXVII (Constitution of the Federative Republic of Brazil); Art. 1,228 (Civil Code), Art. 184 (Code Penal) Law No. 9,610 / 98 (Copyright Law - LDA).

3.7 ATTENTION - Papers involving humans and animals must present the approval number in the Research Ethics Committee in the methodology, as well as attach the approval opinion (in PDF) when sending the abstract.



4.1 Students, teachers, researchers and professionals from the thematic areas of the event may register.



5.1 Papers will be evaluated by ad hoc reviewers, according to the following score:

(   ) APPROVED: for exhibition and publication in the annals (equal to or greater than 8 points) *

(   ) APPROVED: for publication in the annals (6 to 7 points).

(   ) FAILED: it will not be published in the annals or presented at the congress (equal to or less than 5 points).

* All presentations will be by e-poster on the congress website through an exhibition and the 10 with the best grades will be presented orally and will compete for a prize.

5.2 The dynamics of the exhibition of electronic Posters will be disclosed by the Scientific Committee and made available on the event website.

5.3 The electronic poster must be prepared within the following rules and configurations:

5.3.1 Dimensions: 120 X 90cm;

5.3.2 Title must be typed in bold and capital letters;

5.3.3 Use italics only to indicate terms in other languages ​​and / or scientific name;

5.3.4 It is suggested that it be structured with the following subtitles (when applicable) (see model in ANNEX III).

5.3.5 The title of the Poster must be identical to that of the abstract. Below the title should be the name of the authors and their respective institutions.

5.3.6 The use of images and graphics is permitted.

5.4 The poster will be displayed on the event website according to the schedule and will not be presented.

5.5 The reporter of the oral works (the top 10) will have 5 to 8 minutes for presentation, according to the schedule provided by the Scientific Committee.

5.6 The reporter of the work in the Oral modality who does not attend the time and virtual room determined for the presentation of the respective work will not have the right to present it on another day or time. In addition, the absent rapporteur will not receive the presentation certificate and will not be entitled to publication in the proceedings of the event. In duly justified cases and previously communicated to the Scientific Committee, the work may be presented by one of the authors formally appointed by the rapporteur.


5.7 The 10 best works already mentioned will compete for the honorable mention.

5.7.1 The works that are classified in the first three places will receive an honorable mention.

5.7.2 The works classified in the first two places will be published in the SANARE Magazine - Public Policy Magazine. For this, the authors of the awarded work will be responsible for the submission, payment of fees and compliance with the magazine's rules in the journal's electronic system, following the flow and publication rules of the same.

5.8 All certificates will be made available on the congress website, in the congressman's area.

5.9 The proceedings will be available on the website within two months after the event.



Submission of papers: 01, 02 and 03 October 2020.

Evaluation of the works: October 4 to 30, 2020.

Disclosure of accepted papers: from November 2, 2020.

Dissemination of the dynamics of exhibition and presentation of the works: from November 9, 2020.



The Organizing and Scientific Commissions of the Regional Congress on Collective Health, reserve the right to resolve omitted cases, as well as situations not provided for in this Notice.
